Those of us who have passed on into the Inner Presence of God in a living experience will not find many who understand us; true spiritual fellowship will be hard, if not impossible to find. But we should not expect things to be otherwise. After all, we are strangers and pilgrims here on earth, and the journey we take is not on our feet but in our heart. We walk with God in the gardens of our own souls; and who, my friends, but God can walk with us there? We are of another spirit; another species from the multitudes of men that tread the surface of our planet; we have seen and felt that of which they have only heard in echoes, and they fear us, hate us, and isolate us, because of it.
